The Artist's Voice / Africa Comics

Join Valerie Cassel, Associate Curator at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Houston, in conversation with Keith Knight, William H. Foster, III and Calvin Reid.

The Africa Comics panel discussion brings together a prominent curator as well as several well respected comic makers and scholars. They will discuss their work and projects in relation to the groundbreaking Africa Comics exhibit presently at The Studio Museum in Harlem. The panel will take place during the NY Comic Convention and will address the international fascination with comics as a form of art and popular culture.
