The Columbia University Club of Bergen/Passaic/Rockland Counties is pleased to welcome Dean Peter Awn who will discuss and field questions about the role of religion in the politics of the Islamic world.

Dean Awn is the Professor of Islamic Religion and Comparative Religion in Columbia’s Department of Religion, Dean of the School of General Studies, Acting Dean of the School of Continuing Education, and Director of the Middle East Institute.
