Online registration for this event is now closed. If you would like to participate, you can buy your zoo ticket at the gates and sign up for the $10 luncheon registration fee on site. The lecture & lunch will be in the Dancing Crane Cafe.
Join CAA, fellow alumni, families, and friends for a special day at the Bronx Zoo. The fun-filled day includes talks on animal language & behavior, a scavenger hunt, a barbeque near Flamingo Pond, facepainting, and full & free access to all the zoo's special exhibitions (including Madagascar!).
10 a.m. Zoo opens
11 a.m. Family friendly talk, "Ecology with No Apology" with Professor Shaheed Naeem, Chair, Department of Ecology, Evolution and Environmental Biology
11:30 a.m. Barbeque lunch (including vegetarian options, beer & wine), facepainting, and more!
1:30 p.m. Enjoy the zoo on your own or with fellow alumni & families; and explore the secrets of the zoo with our CAA scavenger hunt
The value of this special day at the Bronx Zoo is $60 - you save $40-$50!
$20 - adults (18 and up)
$10 - children (3-18)
free - children under 2
Please note, tickets and a schedule + location details will be mailed to you in advance of September 20. Please register by September 13. If your preferred mailing address is different than the address you give in the RSVP form, please email Emily Morris at ebm23@columbia.edu.
The animals love to get wet! This event is rain or shine and we cannot offer refunds. (The barbeque and lecture sites are covered.)
