Join the Columbia University Club of Taipei in welcoming Dr. Klaus S. Lackner, who will speak on the innovative approaches to energy issuesincluding carbon management and the capture of carbon dioxide from power plants or directly from the atmosphere.
Dr. Klaus S. Lackner, is the Ewing-Worzel Professor of Geophysics in the Department of Earth and Environmental Engineering and director of the Lenfest Center for Sustainable Energy of The Earth Institute at Columbia University. A leading expert in sustainable energy, Professor Lackner has received global recognition for his work and extensive media coverage in outlets such as Time, The Guardian, NPR, PBS, Los Angeles Times, and MSNBC.
There will be plenty of time to ask questions following the program.
