opportunity or how to best position your skills to be hired by one?
Meet Columbia alumni who are
entrepreneurs or who work for entrepreneurial firms and learn how you can enter
this dynamic industry. Learn about their career paths, how they started their
companies, potential internship opportunities and advice they would offer to
those who are considering working for a start-up.
Our panel includes:

Paul Orlando, BUS 04, founder of Chatfe, a new media
startup that was awarded the “Best Business Viability” by Microsoft BizSpark and
has been written about in the New York Times.
He also hosts start-up classes at Skillshare.

Andrew Yang, LAW ’99, former President and CEO of
Manhattan GMAT, an industry leading preparation firm acquired by Kaplan/the
Washington Post in 2009.

David Whittemore, CC ’06, founder of Clothes Horse, an
early stage startup in New York focused on helping consumers buy clothes online
that fit.
