Dr. Lawrence Neuman: President of EffiSolar, Solar Bridge and China Power Development Corporation
Lawrence Neuman, PhD, is actively engaged in solar and wind project
development and financing in the United States and China and has over 25
years of experience in international renewable energy. Dr. Neuman is
President of EffiSolar Development a leading developer of utility-scale
solar PV projects in New Jersey and Ontario and is also President of
Solar Bridge, a commercial-scale solar PV company, and China Power
Development Corporation devoted to developing wind and solar projects in
China. Dr. Neuman also is actively engaged in evaluating and developing
utility scale wind energy projects. He has established strategic
alliances with solar PV manufacturers in China for the US and
international markets and tracks technology developments in wind and
solar energy as well as ocean energy utilizing his training in marine
geophysics. Earlier, Dr. Neuman was Senior Officer at United Nations. He
holds several degrees from Columbia University: a PhD in Marine
Geophysics, an MA in Earth and Space Studies and a BA in both Physics
and music.
