Putney Student Travel will be holding an informal information session regarding Summer Trip Leader positions for 2013. All successful candidates will have graduated by early June, 2013. Most, but not all, of our positions require fluency or proficiency in languages such as Spanish, French, Italian, Mandarin, Khmer, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Hindi, and Kiswahili.
Putney Student Travel seeks qualified college graduates to co-lead small groups of middle school and high school students on international programs ranging from two to six weeks long. Program themes include Language Learning, Cultural Exploration, Global Awareness in Action, Community Service, and Emerging Leaders.
Leaders will receive a stipend based on education level and relevant experience in addition to having all expenses paid during travel. Leaders are responsible for their own health insurance, and should have a minimal certification in Basic First Aid and CPR. Leaders must be present at a 4-day Leader Orientation in Putney, Vermont from June 6-9, 2013. Transportation to and from Orientation is covered. |
