This workshop will help participants prepare for the real world of work.  It will focus on strategies to get postive recognition, more satisfaction, independence and greater creativity.  It will also cover best communications practices in business, empowerment, the advantages and pitfalls of taking initiative, teamwork, meetings, problems faced during a career, becoming your own boss and performance evaluations.

The workshop will be of particular value to graduating seniors who will soon be entering the workforce.

Eligibility: All Graduate Students from GSAS, SEAS, SOA, GSAPP and SCE and undergraduates from Columbia College, SEAS, School of General Studies, School of Continuing Education and SOA.
