General Dynamics Electric Boat will be on campus March 7th, at 12:00pm noon at the Davis Auditorium in CEPSR until 2:00pm! Electric Boat builds arguable the most complex machine made by man, the Nuclear Submarine. Electric Boat is headquartered in Eastern Connecticut and has facilities throughout the US from Rhode Island to Washington DC to Hawaii. If you want to learn about what type of work we do, and what possibilities are available, please stop by our information session to learn and ask questions.
We are looking for all disciplines of engineering (electrical, mechanical, chemical, computer, civil, etc...) to help with the design and production of the United States Navy Nuclear Submarines.
At the event you will get to hear from a panel of engineers ranging from supervisors to new hires which include Columbia alumnus. We will be giving an informal talk about the types of work we do and the daily challenges we face. We will also review resumes and give advice for the interviewing process.
Note: we can only hire US citizens.
