Networking is the single most important skill to include in your job search toolbox. As a GS’er, it is crucial to take advantage of the rich networking opportunities available through alumni, peers, faculty and administrators. Join us for this presentation and practice your newfound skills with GS alumni during a networking reception directly afterwards! By attending this presentation, you will learn the following:
- Columbia-specific networking resources to take advantage of
- The basics of LinkedIn and how to find Columbia alumni through this robust resource
- How an introvert can feel comfortable networking
- Tips and tricks to maintain relationships and feel positive about your exchanges. Finally, guided by a CCE counselor, also join us for an informal debrief session with your GS peers following the reception. Get any lingering networking questions answered and share the successes and challenges experienced from your interactions with the alumni networkers.
Business attire is
