The Earth Institute welcomes the HungerU Fall 2013 Tour to Columbia University, helping spread awareness of global hunger issues and encouraging students to join the conversation.
This event is free and Open to the Public. No prior registration required.
The HungerU Fall 2013 Tour features a 40-foot x 40-foot mobile education classroom complete with large, flat-screen digital displays and interactive kiosks.
HungerU will be parked in the Wien Courtyard from 9 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Students are welcome to stop and talk about the global hunger challenge and solutions to feeding the world's population. This mobile classroom is designed to provide a welcoming space for conversations on global food issues and the critical role modern agricultural practices will play in addressing them.
