Currently, only 8% of students growing up in a low-income community will graduate from college by the age of 24. Want to change that reality?

Join us on the 2nd floor caf of the Diana Center from 6:30pm to 8pm on Tuesday, October 22nd. Hear from alumni and representatives from the Teach For America, City Year, New York Teaching Fellows, Blue Engine, et al. This event is open to all majors and years and will be a great opportunity to learn more about these programs, compare them side-by-side, and network with representatives. Refreshments will be served.

The last Teach For America application deadline this semester is this Friday, Oct 25th. Last year, 35 Columbia Lions joined the fight for educational equity. Of the 16 million students growing up in poverty, only half will graduate from high school. You can change this. All majors eligible. Watch this video (http://vimeo.com/46300150) to learn more about TFAs mission and impact.

TFAs 3rd third and final application deadline this semester is Friday, October 25th!
