The Earth Institute's Center on Globalization and Sustainable Development's Haiti Research and Policy Program Dialogue Series presents "Perspectives on Haiti’s National Strategic Development Plan: Designing Local Investment and Capacity Building Programs," with Johnny Celestin, Deputy Chief of Staff, Ministère de la Plannification et de la Coopération Externe.

Open to the public.  Registration required.

This Haiti Dialogue Series will focus on various components of the design and implementation of the National Strategic Development Plan for Haiti.  Mr. Celestin, the Deputy Chief of Staff for the Ministry of Planning in Haiti, will discuss the application of the national plan objectives and framework to local investment programs and how to strengthen coordination between central state programs and local development projects.  This is a rare opportunity to explore how improve direct application of a national development plan at the local level.
