Research: LEADing in Africa Intern Program:
The intent of the LEADing to Africa internship program is to build an important recruitment channel for our business in Africa by providing a short-term real world experience in other IBM markets. IBMís internship programs provide assignments for students to become familiar with IBMís organization, work style, culture and global reach. Students in this program have expressed interest in working in Africa if such a position is offered after completion of the internship program. IBM is also committed to compliance with all fair employment practices regarding citizenship and immigration status.
The IBM Watson Solutions team is growing. We are looking for cognitive computing experts who have a strong understanding and skills of Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, Linguistics, Advanced and Semantic Search, Knowledge Representation, and a record of developing complex probabilistic algorithms.
Join the team of professionals who are applying this exciting, ground-breaking cognitive computing technology to some of the most complex and demanding challenges faced by humanity. For example:
-- In healthcare, MD Andersonís Oncology Expert Advisor, powered by IBM Watson, is designed to integrate the knowledge of MD Andersonís clinicians and researchers, and to advance the center centerís goal of treating patients with the most effective, safe and evidence-based standard of care available.
-- In customer service, IBM Watson will empower customer service agents to provide fast, data-driven answers, or be available directly to consumers, via mobile device, to quickly help address customers' questions, offer feedback to guide their purchase decisions, and troubleshoot their problems.
