Job Search Strategies for Alumni: Finding Employment in a Difficult Market

Are you getting ready to launch your job search?  Have you been looking for a while but are getting discouraged about not finding a job?  In better times, it might have been possible to use only one or two job search methods to land a position, but today it is necessary to employ every job search strategy at your disposal.  This is the second session of a two part series.  Career professionals from the Center for Career Education will help you to launch or jump start your job search. You will also have the opportunity to share tips and insights about the job search process with other Columbia alumni. While it is recommended that you attend both workshops, it is not a requirement.

Session Two: Wednesday, December 7 - 6:30-8:00

Finding the Jobs: This session will cover the "Hidden Job Market" which includes tapping into and expanding your network of people. In addition, we will talk about general and specialized websites as well as other sources of employment opportunities.

Additional Information: This Job Search workshop series consists of two sessions. The fee for each session is $10. To register for Session 2, click the button below. These workshops are open to all Columbia University alumni. Cancellations must be made by 6pm on Tuesday, December 6. After completing registration you will receive an automatic confirmation email We recommend that you register now as space is limited.
