About Speaker: Allison Cheston is a career adviser with a
28-year background in marketing and executive search, and a lifelong
fascination with peoples' careers. Allison has created a program designed to
equip young adults to better navigate their career paths and teaches a course
on this topic at NYU's School of Continuing and Professional Studies. She is a
frequent speaker on career management and has conducted workshops for NYU,
Barnard College, and the Mediabistro JobSearch Bootcamp series. She blogs on
career issues for young adults at her own blog, Career Connector (www.allisoncheston.com/blog/), at
as well as guest blogs for FoxNews.com, YouTern, TeenLife, NY Creative Interns,
Brazen Careerist, My Footpath and others. In addition to all these roles,
Allison serves as Business Development Consultant for an education technology
