Join CCE staff on a Site Visit to City Year!

This is a unique opportunity for UNDERGRADUATE students with any major and graduation year to visit one of City Year's schools in Harlem.  Take a tour and engage in a roundtable discussion to learn more about City Year and their important work with students in schools.   Also, we will have an opportunity to observe what a typical day in the classroom may look like, which can ultimately help you decide whether or not becoming a Corps member is right for you!

About City Year:

City Year is a nonprofit organization that unites young people of all backgrounds for a year of full-time service, giving them the skills and opportunities to change the world. As tutors, mentors and role models, these diverse young leaders make a difference in the lives of children and transform schools and neighborhoods. City Year is a proud member of AmeriCorps.

At City Year's 21 locations across the United States, corps members serve full-time for 10 months, each providing more than 1,700 hours of service. Corps members serve in schools as tutors, mentors, role models and leaders of after-school programs. As a City Year corps member, you will help students stay on track and get back on track to graduate by helping them improve course performance, attendance and behavior. City Year provides real world experiences of incomparable value in terms of personal and professional development.
