The Earth Institute presents the second in the 2012-2013 Sustainable Development Seminar Series on Food Security. Balanced diets, reliable food sources, clean drinking water, stable agricultural systems and plant pollinators all contribute to the stability and well-being of a populace’s nutritional health. Healthy populations require healthy environments and sufficient nutrients to meet basic dietary needs.
The second session in the 2012-2013 Sustainable Development Seminar Series will offer diverse perspectives and discussion on food security and the impact of climate change.
