The Earth Institute and the School of Continuing Education MSSM Practicum present Droughts and Sustainability with Bradford Lyon, Research Scientist, The International Research Institute for Climate and Society (IRI), Lamont -Doherty Earth Observatory, The Earth Institute, Columbia University. 

Prof. Lyon is a climate research scientist interested in the analysis of climate variability and climate change. His research activities are focused primarily on using observational and climate model data in diagnostic studies of regional and large-scale climate dynamics but have also included applied research in various regional and decision-making settings. He is particularly interested in investigating causal mechanisms, regional manifestations, prediction, and impacts of drought.
